Monte na Luz, as a center, is created to give people an opportunity to bring more awareness into the human consciousness and to support those who want to remember who they really are and want to create and live a life from their source.
The centre Monte na Luz, in the hillocks at north of Loulé, offers a splendid eightsquared room, an attractive restaurant, beautiful one- , two- and three persons chambers and a delicious swimming pool. Monte na Luz has sleeping accommodation for 32 people maximum. The chambers are spread over the mainbuilding and three small houses. Every room has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The centre is spread over an area of 2 hectares.
Loulé is situated in the heart of the Algarve, the most Southern region of Portugal, in an authentic Portuguese environment, between the olive -, almond - and carobtrees. 
Monte na Luz lies on a hillock with view on both the ocean and the inland country. The ocean is approximately 20 minutes drive with the car. Loulé lies on walking distance from Monte na Luz (approximately 25 minutes walk taking a particularly beautiful path). You can make beautiful walks in the environment. There are possibilities of car hiring (per day or per week), which makes it possible for you to visit the sea or the surroundings.
Moreover there is twice a week a shuttle service to the ocean .
The afternoon temperature is in the period from October to March generally between 18 and 22 degrees C., in April/May generally 25 degrees C. and in the summer between 25 and 35 degrees C. Thanks to the oceaanbreeze it is in fact never too warm.

Monte na Luz offers the possibility to give or follow coursesses.
In the 'Cursuskalender' you will find the coursesses which are given and which are mostly open for registration.
If you follow one of the coursesses on Monte after Luz, it is often possible to extend your stay, as a form of retreat. Monte na Luz is a wonderful place to stay for a retreat, to recharge your batteries, to write, to meditate or to just be by yourself. The rest and beauty of the Portuguese nature and the beautiful energy of Monte na Luz can work very well.

How to find Monte na Luz:
In Loulé, from the roundabout with the fountain and dancers on the Avenida, go northwards in the direction ´parque municipal´.
After 300 meters, at the traffic lights, go to the left and follow the signs
direction Almodôvar/Alte/Salir. After approximately 1.5 km you´ll find
at the right-hand side a sign ´Cruz da Assumada' and directly afterwards
a sign ' Cabanita'. Go directly to the left, just before a house with blue tiles on the front.
Follow this road and after approx. 350 meters there is a sign
to the left for Monte na Luz. Follow this path around the ruïne and after
approx. 300 meters there is a parking place on your left hand and in front
of you Monte na Luz.
